Southside

Ramona Trattoria

If romance to you is a big bowl of homemade pasta in a causal laidback environment, we’ve got some good news to share. Ramona Trattoria graced Coorparoo and its surrounds mid 2022, being the brainchild of Ashley-Maree Kent whose cheffed in multiple famous Aussie restaurants, you can expect some quality Italian grub. Start your meal with some antipasti, end in the night in some tiramisu.

Casa Chow

With a super pink and bright interior showcasing Chifa cuisine (a crossover between Chinese-Peruvian flavours) sharing is caring when it comes to dining out at Casa Chow. Sip on your classics, such as the famous Cosmo, and graze on an array of familiar favs and some unique choices.

Melrose

Towards the end of Bulimba’s Oxford Street, you’ll find Melrose upstairs in fit out that’s Indonesian-inspired, just like their menu. From the big hospo guns of Venzin Group, even if you’re not a foodie, you’ve probably heard all about this must-do venue. They even have a special V-day Banquet for $90 per person. Let your beau snack on all Bali-esque food, start with some oysters (natural aphrodisiac wink wink), and sip on some summery cocktails.

1889 Enoteca

An Italian Brissy staple which chooses substance over modern styling, 1889 Enoteca has even reached global stages being name one of the top Italian restaurants in the world in 2022. Big on tradition, you’ll an array of classic dishes that are sure to tantalise your tastebuds. Their wines, reigning straight from small wineries and producers in Italy in features a romantic pair to your chosen meal.

CBD and it’s Surrounds

Za Za Ta

If you want to impressive a special plant-based person in your life, introduce them to the vibrant Middle-Eastern inspired menu of Za Za Ta, full of unique flavours and spices. The palatial dining room is the perfect back-drop for a romantic evening.

Having an extensive drink list featuring wines from a vary of regions, start your evening with a romantic sip, or maybe a cocktail is your baes preferred drink of choice - in which you’ll find an array of fun, flirty beverages.

Seoul SSamm

Honestly, is there anything more romantic than chowing down with your beau? If you’re more into a causal, laidback vibe for a little V-day treat, Seoul SSamm is a Korean BBQ offering you all the pork belly and wagyu you could ask for. Note: this place is closed on Tuesdays (which unfortunately Vday lands on this year), so maybe treat your boo to a quieter evening on a Monday.

Stylish, pink and full of Italian food galore, it doesn’t get much more romantic than that. Plus, there’s tiramisu. Bìanca serves you delish Italian food with a filled with great energy/vibe - indulge your beau with their rich Ragu.

Northside

Sì Baby

The newest Italian on the Northside of Brissy, nestled in the Redcliffe Peninsula, get ready to settle in for a romantic evening full of wood-fired oven pizzas, pasta, seafood galore and plenty of booze all whilst smooth jazz plays in the background. With their dough being fermented for 40 hours and the pizzas being cooked right in front of your eyes

Nota

Serving modern European food without the snobbery, you’ll find Nota nestled in a heritage listed building on the main street of Paddington. If you’re feeling extra romantic (or perhaps just hungry), treat your SO to a Chefs Feast. For $110pp, you can graze on the very finest of Nota such as Twice Cooked Cheese Souffle and Caviar Tarts - all with a glass of bubbles on arrival.

Hervés

The French are glad to die for love, so naturally for the most romantic day of the year you may be thinking of treating your ma moitié to a little bit of French cuisine. Hervés offers you all the goodies you can expect from the French, think a mix of locally and Aussie-wide sourced seafood, a comprehensive wine list showcasing small environmentally conscious winemakers and vineyards from Australia and abroad, including an intriguing full page of organic Corsican wines. Their Valentines Day Banquet is $150pp and includes 6 courses.

Deer Duck Bistro

Fine dining the burbs, Deer Duck Bistro offers you and your chosen boo a degustation nestled in a cosy, moody lit dining space, full of antique charm. Their Valentines Day Banquet is $195pp, and allows you and bae to indulge in a special five-course menu.
