Oche - Darts. Fun. Bar.

As Australia’s first dedicated darts bar, Oche, located within Fortitude Valley’s 115-year-old, heritage-listed Old Flour Mill is far from your average bar.

Named after the line which denotes where throwing players must stand behind in the game of darts, Oche (pronounced ‘ockey’) has effectively brought the old-age game of darts into the 21st century. All of Oche’s 14 booths are equipped with an electronic version of a traditional dartboard which automatically keeps score – so no disputing who the winner is at the end - and using the touch screen allows you to select from and play a variety of games which cater to all skills levels.

Though, arguably the best part of Oche, and which makes it that much more fun is the incredible food and drinks offering. We were offered a taste of some of their share plates, hand-picked by Oche’s Head Chef, Pete Swatton. The dishes included some mouth-watering Corned Beef Slides, Hummus, Fried Prawns, Crispy Spiced Squid, Popcorn Chicken. All the food was delicious and has been thoughtfully designed for sharing and to be eaten without cutlery, meaning you can have a dart in one hand and one of Oche’s delicious sliders in the other!

Plus, with local beer served and a stellar cocktail list, you’ll no doubt be intermittently sipping between dart throws (like us) too.

Booths can be reserved for a total of 85 minutes of dart throwing action – plenty of time to play a few rounds and enjoy some delicious food and drinks with friends. So, assemble your crew and check out Oche for a fun-filled, memorable evening, and to find out who can hit the most bullseyes.
