Quysine – Cosy. Tapas. Cleveland.

On the edge of Cleveland’s town centre and a street away from the shore, you’ll find a charming little tapas bar and restaurant known as Quysine – a perfect spot to enjoy a few tapas plates and drinks with a group of close friends or family.

Due to the size of tapas, approximately equivalent to an appetiser or snack, sharing and ordering a variety of dishes to try is very much encouraged at Quysine – it is recommended you order at least two tapas plates per person for a meal.

This is great considering the long list of tempting choices you’ll find on Quysine’s menu, which features a modern combination of Australian and Spanish cuisine. Although it’s difficult to narrow it down, standout dishes include the tender salt and pepper calamari, the creamy garlic prawns, the crispy arancini balls, the smoked pork croquettes, the meaty beef short rips, and crunchy pork belly.

Though whatever you order it's sure to be delicious and incredible value for money, as the portion sizes of all the dishes are super generous. Also, for customers with special dietary requirements, 80% of the menu can be prepared to be gluten free or made to be vegetarian.

Notably, throughout the week (Tuesday – Saturday) Quysine’s ‘Tapas Lunch Express’ menu is available, allowing diners to enjoy any one tapas dish, side, and drink for only $18. Beyond this, Quysine offers a number of all-day specials, namely free corkage on BYO wine on Tuesdays, $20 for its eight-course tasting menu on Wednesdays, 50c wings on Thursdays, and finally, $10 plates on Sundays.

With three different dining areas, you can choose to enjoy your tapas either inside, out on the restaurant’s veranda, or in the sprawling alfresco area surrounded by grapevines.
