Degani Coorparoo – Elegant Coffee and Dining Experience

We had heard so much about Degani, a coffee chain store originating from Melbourne, so we decided to hit the place and have a taste of their food and drinks.
We tried the Southern Fried Chicken Burger with Beer Batter Chips. The burger is made of crispy fried chicken, tomato, smashed avocado, and chipotle aioli on the bun. Filling as it was, the dish stopped short of exceptional. We think it’s a bit wiser to order something lighter such as a salad or pasta.
Of course, we had to try their much-touted hand-crafted coffee. The flat white and cold long black were decent and pungent, with a chocolate undertone.
Also, Degani does offer $12 lunch specials from 11am to 3pm. You get to pick a choice of club sandwiches and chips, chicken schnitzels and chips, fish and chips, or calamari salad. So if the hunger pack starts kicking in, Degani can be a good place to go.
