Quirky. Chic. Nostalgic. 人生若只如初见。

Get ready to be transported to a bright, pastel, and retro space when you visit the adequately named First Met Cafe (@firstmetcafeofficial) just opposite of Westfield Garden City at Cremin St, Upper Mount Gravatt.

The cafe features very pleasant pastel-toned decors with plenty of board games & card games available for visitors, and even a mini arcade machine on a raised tatami sitting space, making First Met Cafe a great catch up spot for millennials.

However, it’s also really chill and peaceful enough to be a good cafe for studying or working in.

Food-wise, the small selection of items on the menu comprise of a mix of Asian and Western cuisines. The Wonton Noodle Soup and Spicy Beef Noodle Soup we had were both pretty good for a shop that’s more drink-focussed.

Speaking of drinks, they offer a wide range of bubble teas, fruit teas, and more. For a first visit at First Met Cafe, we think it will be one of our local go-to spots when we feel like working outside.
