To mark Indonesia’s Independence on August 17 and celebrate the nation’s food and culture, this August, P’Nut Street Noodles will be offering a range of month-long Indonesian specials. So, whilst travelling to Indonesia (and all overseas travel) is firmly off the cards for the foreseeable future, thanks to P’Nut that won’t stop you from enjoying a taste of Indonesia!

The Indonesian Specials that will be offered throughout the month of August and that we recently enjoyed includes Char Kway Teow, a dish comprised of flat rice sheet noodles tossed with garlic-infused kecap manis, free-range egg and fresh vegetables. This dish proved to have a perfect mix of both sweet and savoury and is available with chicken or vegetables.

Another exciting Indonesian special which will be available is Indonesian Fried Chicken (IFC). Brough back by popular demand, this dish features cage free chicken seasoned with a blend of spices and coated with homemade satay and sambal. Packed full of flavour, this chicken was crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside and had just the right amount of spice and kick to it without being too overpowering.

Beyond this, Indonesian dishes, Mee Goreng and Nasi Goreng will also be available.

Finally, you’ll able to enjoy a cold Bintang beer with any main dish offered at P’Nut for just five dollars, because everyone knows you can’t go to Indonesia without a few cheap Bintangs.
