Best Monday Food Deals in Brisbane
Who doesn’t love food deals? For those on the budget or just wanting to to enjoy a fine meal without burning through your wallet, there is a cornucopia of daily food specials across Brisbane. Here are some of the most popular Monday deals you can get:
1. Beach House
Where: Shop 58, Level E, Myer Centre, Cnr Albert & Elizabeth Streets, Brisbane CBD
Opening: Monday to Sunday, 8am to 12am
They may not make the best steak out there in Brisbane, but Beach House’s nice view and cozy ambience make it a very popular place among locals and foreigners alike. However, that is not to say they don’t have good food - the steaks are really decent. At the Monday’s Steak Night, you can get two steaks for the price of one! So bring a friend along and enjoy a good tender steak.
2. Brewski
Where: 22 Caxton Street, Petrie Terrace
Menu: http://www.brewskibar.com.au/best-burgers-and-low-n-slow/
Opening: Monday to Sunday, 12:00pm to 10pm
The health-conscious diners have probably taken notice of Brewski. Not a strictly vegan restaurant, their unique menu stands out with a number of plant-based burgers with meatless patties. It’s always fascinating to see the creativity and ingenuity that go into making plants taste like meat, so Brewski’s vegan menu is a must try. With so many choices on offer, it’s a relief that Brewski just launched their $10 Monday Madness, where you can pick among a selection of 14 items in the menu for $10 each. If you think vegan food is boring, maybe take this chance to find out if it’s true.
3. Salt Meats Cheese
Where: Mantra South Bank, 161 Grey St, South Brisbane
Menu: https://saltmeatscheese.com.au/locations/south-bank/#menuu
Opening: Monday to Sunday, 6:30am to 9:30pm
Indulge yourself in a cheesy night with SMC’s Monday All-you-can-eat Pizza and Pasta Night. Yes, that’s right - as much pizza and pasta as you want with $20 per person (with drink purchase). This may not be the healthiest meal to have, but it will certainly be the most satisfying. What’s better than cheese? Answer: more cheese!
4. The Defiant Duck
Where: 3/84 Longland Street, Newstead
Opening: Monday to Sunday, 11 am to 10pm
It’s not like everyday you can eat steak for the price of a cappuchino. The Defiant Duck has, to our delight, launched a Monday’s $5 Steak special. Now you can quench that meat crave while on your student budget. A drink purchase is required, however. Having said so, this is still a great bargain!
5. Bird’s Nest
Where: (1) Shop 5, 220 Melbourne Street, South Brisbane; (2) Shop 4, 702 Ann Street, Fortitude Valley; (3) 9 Sherwood Rd 4066, Shop G67A, Toowong Village
Menu: http://birdsnestrestaurant.com.au/birds-nest-west-end/
Opening: Monday to Friday, 5:30pm to Late; Saturday to Sunday, 5pm to Late (Dinner)
Lovers of Japanese cuisine would be elated to know about Bird’s Nest’s Monday $3 Yakitori Skewers special. One of the most well-known Japanese restaurants, their skewers are not to be missed. So make sure you come on Monday to get a skewer at 60% the normal price.
6. Hai Hai Ramen
Where: 102 Latrobe Terrace Paddington, Brisbane
Menu: https://hai-hai.co/menu/
Opening: Monday to Thursday, 5pm to 9pm ; Friday to Sunday, 12pm to 9pm
Who doesn’t love ramen? Nothing can appease a rumbling stomach better than a steamy bowl of ramen, which is why we embrace Hai Hai Ramen’s $10 Ramen deal with alacrity. There’s is a good reason why you should do the same: the deal only lasts one hour, between 5 and 6pm!
7. King Tea
Where: 100 Latrobe Terrace Paddington, Brisbane
Opening: Monday to Thursday, 5pm to 9pm ; Friday, 12:00pm to 9pm; Saturday, 10:00am to 9pm; Sunday, 10:00am to 8:00pm
Whether you’re a vegan or just wanting something healthy for a change, King Tea’s $20 Vegan Banquet is simply irresistible. Located in Paddington, King Tea serves a combination of traditional and modern Chinese cuisine with a heavy Sichuan influence. If you dine here from 5pm to 7pm, you can enjoy a whole vegan banquet for only $20!
