Along the buzzy Given Terrance eating precinct in Paddington is where you can find the lovely Anouk Cafe with a stunning Brisbane view for your upscale all-day brunch.
Being one of Brisbane’s best cafes sine 2007, Anouk Cafe offers beautifully-crafted breakfast & lunch dishes in a chic open interior with bay windows, exposed brick walls, and lots and lots of plants (which you can also purchase!).
We sampled three of Anouk’s dishes, inspired by flavours around the world and were blown away by the taste and attention to detail.
The Isreali Shakshuka (baked egg in tomato sauce) was a wonderful treat with their labneh and spiced flatbread but our favourites would have to be the Thai Kao Soi (think the Thai version of Laksa with egg noodles) and the Italian Pasta Colazione (breakfast pasta with creamy mushrooms & truffle oil).
The attention to detail & seasoning was spot on for us. We didn’t even feel the need to reach for the salt & pepper on the table.
