Situated on busy Logan Road in Mt Gravatt, Little Black Pug Café is a minimalist all-day brunch café that is both family and dog friendly. Born from their shared passion for food, coffee and their two adorable pugs (Bowie and Mate), husband and wife Josh and Louise Daly opened Little Black Pug Café as a place for foodies and their four-legged friends to come and enjoy.

Open from morning to afternoon seven days a week, Little Black Pug Café offers an all-day seasonal brunch menu, inclusive of a selection of dog-friendly treats – think warm puppycinos, meatballs and doggy biscuits.

With a focus on simple, tasty food, done with precision and care, the café’s menu, although relatively concise, is full of crowd-pleasing dishes. When we visited, we shared a selection of their most popular dishes, including their 5-Spice Confit Duck Salad, Open Hand-Rolled Mushroom Lasagne, Asian-inspired Eggs Benedict and their award-winning Ricotta Pancakes. To drink, the café serves Toby’s Estate speciality coffee and tea, thick shakes and frozen fruit blends.

Notably, it is worth mentioning the café’s menu caters for gluten-free intolerances, vegetarians and vegans.

Whatever you order, you can choose to enjoy it al fresco (with your dog in tow), in the main café or rather at the back of the café in a separate large, open and light-filled space perfect for groups and families with kids.
