Quaint Cafe in Charming Suburb

Wholesome. Cosy. Rustic. 🥝🍀

We always love to explore the small coffee shops in quiet corners of Brisbane, because that’s where the gems are normally hidden. And Samson & Sophie is definitely a gem in Teneriffe.

Stepping into the shop, you would think here is where all the food photos in lifestyle magazines are taken, with the wooden tables and colourful chairs – the street-café vibe. Much of Samson & Sophie’s menu emphasises on healthy dining and unique dishes that you can't find anywhere else, which is definitely a need in the cafe scenes here in Brisbane.

We had their Persian Avocado with the works, Turkish Eggs, House Salad with Smoked Salmon, and their special Hot Cakes. Everything was spot on, and what impressed us most was the house salad which not only looks good but taste amazing as well.

While they do offer some familiar dishes diners can find any typical Western café’s menu - think Eggs Benny, Smashed Avo on Toasts - the dishes are jazzed up so well that you don't feel like you're just getting a generic breakfast. We just wished that it was closer to us folks living on the South side.
