Recently finished with their renovations upstairs for a larger dining space and launching an all-new menu featuring three-stack toasties, signature waffles, colourful acais bowls and a tempting array of drinks, Newport’s Café in South Brisbane is certainly worth a visit for a much-needed midweek pick-me-up.
A chic little blue-and-white café in South Brisbane, Newport’s Café has established itself as the go-to place for delicious speciality coffee, using only the very best coffee beans from Colombia. Though, now with a new, more comprehensive menu, Newport’s is much more than simply a hole-in-the-wall to satisfy your caffeine needs!
Beyond world-class coffee, for the non-coffee drinkers there is also a range of colourful, refreshing fruity smoothies to take your fancy as well as an assortment of chocolate deluxe hot drinks difficult to resist – think TimTamccino, Oreoccino (for the coffee drinkers) and Milo & Kinder.
To pair with your drink of choice there is a selection of innovative sweet and savoury waffle creations, including a take on the classic Eggs Benedict, impressive toasted sandwiches – cheese lovers, look no further than the 3 Cheese Toastie – and light and summery acai bowls.
Also, make sure you check out their glass cabinet stocked with freshly made tasty treats before you leave.
Plus, with its walls lined with the latest creations from Brisbane’s up-and-coming artists, the café packs a punch, making it a visually beautiful, inviting space to linger.
