Morning After - Casual. All-Day Breakfast. West End.

Featuring an all-day breakfast menu as well as an ‘after’ (breakfast) menu, Morning After, situated right in the heart of West End is the perfect spot to enjoy breakfast or lunch – or brunch – with friends!

You know the food is going to be delicious before even ordering as the café is always buzzing, often packed full of locals - which is always a reassuring sign! So, although you may have to wait for a table, particularly on a weekend or if you haven’t made a reservation earlier, it is well worth it. 

Every café often has some kind of sweet pancake and/or waffle dish on its menu, and Morning After is no different, with a vanilla hotcake, served with rum and raisin ice cream, maple, caramelised banana, honeycomb, and macadamia crumb featuring on its newly launched winter menu. The dish not only looked as pretty as picture but was also very enjoyable!  

If you’re someone who prefers something savoury to begin the day, we would definitely recommend the flavoursome blue swimmer crab omelette.  

Finally, we also tried the ‘MaMuffin’, Morning After’s take on McDonalds’ iconic McMuffins!  

With huge bifold, north-facing windows and doors, Morning After is an open, contemporary, light-filled space. The space is dominated by a long community table in the centre, as well as a rather interesting white circular booth, along with a collection of hanging and potted plants, which all help to make the space feel warm and inviting. 

Plus, Morning After also offers outdoor seating and is dog friendly.
